job?

Well, I've been looking for a job for over a year now, and it hasn't been going well. I always try to be positive about my abilities, but various work places just crushed my spirit. I am now trying out of my area of expertise, but it's hard to start something new at almost 49 years old. I am beginning to feel useless and that there's nothing out there for me.

The companies in my industry don't appreciate experience they want to hire people for as little money as possible. At my age I may not be as fast as I used to be, but I am conscientious and careful.
